Achieving the goals of sustainability is a uniquely complex process. It’s something that no one individual can achieve on their own, yet everyone must find the initiative to start. People need to step out o the paradigm that dictates their inclusion to be pointless. People often confuse negligible with zero– and further misunderstand the true weight of “negligible.” Their individual work on the grand scheme is mathematically minute. Yet is is infinite when we all work together.

We often talk about our connection with the planet as if it is a conscious being. For years, dating back to our earliest vocal traditions, people have referred to the Earth as a mother to us all. While this image is poignant, poetic, and reminds people of their sense of community and kinship, this isn’t exactly accurate.
